How To Measure Window Screens

DIRECTIONS FOR MEASURING WINDOW SCREENS

Find a screen from a window that fits properly without gaps or spaces.
Measure the Width and the Height of the Aluminum Screen Frame from OUTSIDE TO OUTSIDE .
Measure the thickness of the screen frame.
It will be one of the following: 5/16″, 3/8″ or 7/16″ Box Frame
This measurement is very important – make sure it is checked carefully.
Choose the color of the screen frame Mill (aluminum color), White, or Bronze (dark brown), Black, and Almond (Tan).
Use a quality steel carpenters tape measure not a fabric cloth measuring tape.
